Carmel Artomobilia Saturday August 29, 2015 Carmel, Indiana

The Carmel Artomobilia was established in 2008 by a group of car collectors and automotive enthusiasts, partnering with the City of Carmel and the Carmel Arts & Design District, to celebrate automotive art and design in an distinctive venue that provides an desirable backdrop of shopping, fine dinning and art merchants.  The greater Indianapolis metro-area boasts an distinct heritage of early automotive innovation, and the Artomobilia seeks to build on this foundation by presenting high-quality collector and enthusiast cars from 1908 to the present for the public to enjoy and appreciate.

Located in the quaint town of Carmel, about 20 miles North of Indianapolis, Artomobilia is a celebration of the automobile as art. All of the towns main streets will be closed and cars of every vintage and class will be on display.

An XLR corral has been part of the show since 2011.  XLRs are not in the judging classes, but we have had the largest car corral of the event for the last three years. And this year is proving to be no different. XLRs will be coming in from five states that we know of. This is considered a local event for our club since we launch most of our events/activities from Indy.

Last year our corral was expanded to include all Cadillacs and we would love our Allante brethren to join us (and move those boring DeLoreans to another location). If you'd like to join us, registration closes 1 Aug. You can register for the car corral here http://www.carmelartomobilia.com/corral-registration/. Our club will have two or three canopies, plenty of cold drinks and snacks. And fun will be had by all.
